For this project I made my first web page the one below are my final web page and also my code I wrote to produce it.
These are all my logo variations. In this portion of the logo developing stage I was instructed to make 3 logo variation for the 3 logos I chose from my first draft and develop them. The most challenging part was to create the vectorizing for the part "boost". Then the easiest part was to make different variations for the logos. My favorite part was making the variations. Something I learned is that positioning and the coloring is very important when creating a logo. The name of my brand is called Boost X. The brand specializes in audio technology. It makes headphones, earphones to speakers. This logo represents the brand because it shows the complexity of the brand but also the the simple products that my brand produces. I think having 3 variations was a great idea to have options when choosing the final logo for me.
The 3 logos I chose to be one of my final logos is the 3 logos that are circled. The logo that is on the bottom left, the middle, and the one at the top. These logos represent my company about music and headphones. These images symbolizes the company name and how it boosts the sound quality and the experience of listening to music. The process of this was really smooth and I got it done pretty quickly. I think the one I like the most out of this is the one at the top and the one at the bottom left. Overall I enjoyed this process.
Here is my Color schemes project I did for my technology class. For this project I was asked to create four different color palettes and each palette must include 5 colors. The 4 palettes that I was asked to create is the Analogous, Monochromatic, Complementary, and Triad color schemes. To choose the colors used to the corresponding scheme I used this site. The creation process of this project was very fun but also got very repetitive at times. Doing this was very easy but also time consuming since I had to copy and paste all the hex codes. The Analogous palette is my favorite color scheme out of all the others. The monochromatic scheme has one hue. The analogous scheme has hues that are next to each other in the color wheel. The complementary scheme has hues from the opposite side. The triadic scheme combines 3 hues evenly spaced forming a triangle. While doing this project I got to experiment with different matching colors.
For this assignment I was instructed to make a shape or use a shape from Gravit and color it in with 12 different colors and label it what the color is in RGB and Hex code. While I was doing this assignment the most challenging part was the Hex Code because it took the most time to do. The easiest part was finding the colors to put in for the shapes. Also I thought that the alignment of the shapes will be hard to achieve so I put them in a box to clearly see the alignment of the shapes. To make this I used the shape tool in Gravit and also the column of different alignment features.
I learned lots of things related to typography. Typography is basically a design and appearance of letters, numbers and symbols arranged to look appealing to other viewers. Typography is very important because it sets the mood or what the design feels like and how it makes the people feel. Typography can change the entire feel of the presentation. When it states, "Each font has a personality and a purpose." It means that each font is unique and can show different types of feelings and how it makes people feel. The 5 different types of fonts that I have learned in my class is serif, sans serif, monospaced, handwriting, and novelty. The serif font has little lines stick out from the letter. sans serif are fonts that don't have the little lines. The monospaced fonts are fonts that are all the same size. Handwriting fonts are fonts that look as if someone wrote them and finally novelty fonts are fonts that are not included in one of these fonts such as serif, sans serif, monospaced, and handwritten. Usually serif fonts will be used in a very serious tone as a sans serif font will be more of a relaxed tone. The handwritten font will be used when we want to make it feel like someone has wrote it. So it might be used in a letter. Monospaced is used in coding a lot like when coding in python it will automatically type in a monospaced font. Lastly, the novelty font is a font that we can use as a funny or silly type of font to text to your friends. typeface comparisonIn this activity. I was supposed to find the 5 different types of fonts and show how they are different. WORD PORTRAITSIn this activity we were supposed to get 10 different fonts and write 2 words for each font. One word that fit perfectly for the font and one word that wasn't matched with the font. This is my final design I made.
I made this artwork my doing simple coding such as making circles, rectangles, and lines. I created this because I thought making a pattern would be simple with shapes. During this activity I learned how to change color of shapes. I used Javascript to make this shape. This is a pattern that I simply made. To reach this product I did lots of experimenting on this pattern. Khan academy's lessons taught me how to use this code well to create this and this is the code I did to make this possible.
